SALT LAKE CITY, May 15, 2024 Dr. Kian Eftekhari, a distinguished oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, founder of the Eyelid Center of Utah, and a leading figure in oculofacial surgery, was recently invited as a guest speaker at the University of Minnesota's Optometry Review Course. This prestigious event, held by the University of Minnesota Medical School, brought together optometrists and eye care professionals from across the state to engage with advanced topics in the field.
Dr. Eftekhari delivered two critical lectures at the event: "The Tearing Patient: Practical Pearls & Decision Making" and "Evaluating the Eyelid Patient: Droops, Lumps & Bumps," offering his expert insights into complex oculofacial conditions. His participation underscores his commitment to education and his stature in the medical community, where he is recognized for his specialized knowledge and innovative surgical techniques.
