Founded by Robert Romain Sr., the business diversified over the years, leading to the adoption of the name "United Companies" in 2000. Ron Romain, Robert's son, played a crucial role in the company's expansion and served as CEO until 2022. At that time, his daughter, Amy Romain Barron, was promoted to CEO, continuing the family's legacy.
